Nangona phantsi kwe-FMA 1967, ugxininiso lwalungaphezulu kwimiba yokhuseleko, iOSHA 1994 ibeke ugxininiso olulinganayo ekulawuleni umngcipheko wezempilo emsebenzini kunye nomngcipheko wokhuseleko. UMthetho woKhuseleko neMpilo eMsebenzini 1994 ifuna bonke abaqeshi babonelele ngemeko-bume yokusebenza ekhuselekileyo nesempilweni kwaye bakhusele abanye kwimingcipheko nto leyo ethetha ukunciphisa izehlo zokwenzakala/izifo emsebenzini ukuze kukhuselwe imveliso yenkampani..
Ngokutsho koMbutho wezeMpilo weHlabathi (I-WHO), Impilo yaseMsebenzini (OH) kukukhuthaza kunye nokugcinwa kwelona qondo liphezulu lomzimba, Impilo yengqondo nentlalontle yabasebenzi kuyo yonke imisebenzi ngokuthintela ukuhamba kwezempilo, ukulawula imingcipheko kunye nokulungelelanisa umsebenzi ebantwini, kunye nabantu kwimisebenzi yabo. Impilo yasemsebenzini ijongene nayo yonke imiba yezempilo kunye nokhuseleko emsebenzini kwaye igxile kakhulu ekuthinteleni okuphambili kweengozi..
